Hi Friends!! How is everyone? We are doing good. My birthday is this weekend and I am super excited to celebrate with my family. I’m going all out at Walmart with some of my favorite meals and treats. I’m not holding back!! I’m turning 38 and my family and I are going camping (actually staying at an air conditioned cabin at a camp ground so that makes it camping…right???) We go every Memorial day weekend to the Frio river in West TX and my birthday always seems to fall during this vacation which I love.
We have gone camping several times in the past year and every time we go we take the makings for s’mores. Love love love this yummy treat. So what better way to celebrate during my birthday weekend than to create a S’more Party Bar. Having the bar up for the weekend is going to be so much fun. We can make ourselves a treat when ever we feel like having one, and when friends & family stop by they can make a s’more and/or take a s’more gift bag home with them to have for later. I love sharing these ideas with you and hope that you can use some of them to create your own bar for your birthday, camp out, bar b que, or just because.
To create our S’more Party Bar I ran to Walmart to pick up the ingredients. Right now Walmart has a display in their main aisle of the store by the grocery section of everything you would need to make a S’more. They have a 6 pack of Hershey’s Milk Chocolate Bars, Honey Maid Graham Cracker Squares (exclusively at Walmart), and Kraft’s Jet Puffed Marshmallows.
Once I got home I put a long table by our windows for the bar and covered it with a tablecloth and strip of burlap. For picture purposes I moved the table outside for better lighting. So you could do either as well. On the left hand side of the table I placed all of the makings for the s’mores. Marshmallows, graham crackers, and chocolates. In a vase I placed the roasting sticks (I also found at Walmart).
In the center of the table I placed 3 flower votive holders with candles for roasting the marshmallows. You can use votive candles, small jars of camping fuel, or the burners that you use to keep food warm when catering. Any of these would work fine. Behind those I placed some gift bags for friends to take with them of everything you would need to make s’mores at home. I attached a cute tag to those that says There’s always room for S’more Love. I created a free printable for you to download if you like these tags. You can click on the link at the bottom of this post to download them at home and print.
I had so much fun creating this S’more Party Bar that I created a list of S’more Recipes for people to get new ideas on other ways to make S’mores. This would be for those of us, ahem… that always do everything the same and don’t try new things… not me of course! All my recipes include graham crackers and marshmallows but I changed the types of chocolate used and added some caramel topping to one. To die for folks!! Once you get creative with your s’mores you might not ever go back to the traditional way. Just a warning!!
If you would like to use these recipes for a party of your own you can click the below link and print one of these at home for yourself.

Below is a closer shot of the S’more goodie bags. Not only did I place all the ingredients to make a S’more but I also added a stick for roasting and a tea light candle. So all the need at home is a match. How fun are these bags??

The All American S’more!
Item’s needed to make the All American S’more.
- 2 Honey Maid Graham Cracker Squares
- 1 Kraft's Jet Puffed Marshmallows
- 4 Hershey's Milk Chocolate Bar squares
- 1 roasting stick
- Take your roasting stick and place one Marshmallow on the end. Roast your marshmallow over a flame. Once your marshmallow is toasted on the outside and soft and gooey on the inside it is done! Some people like theirs burned on the outside. It's up to you.
- Place your marshmallow in between your two graham crackers along with your Hershey's squares.
- Let your chocolate melt a bit and cool.
I hope that you got some fun ideas from my S’more Party Bar and get a chance to make one of your own. I can’t wait to put ours to good use this weekend!!
