Ooohhh, Isn’t he handsome?!?! I made this Frankenstein cake for my boys Hallowfest carnival this past weekend. The carnival had a cakewalk and parents were asked to donate 2 cakes per family. I couldn’t just bake a regular chocolate cake of course! It had to be something spooky yet glorious and Frankenstein, in my opinion, was just that! Below is a picture of the cake walk table where you got to select which cake you wanted after winning. Can you spot my two cakes? Hee Hee Hee, they turned out cute! 🙂 I’ll be writing about how I made the other one later this week.
To make Frankenstein you will need:
1 cake mix
neon green food coloring
white and black decorative icing (in a tube for the eyes, nose, mouth etc)
Bake your cake in a 9 x 13 pan. I used a chocolate cake mix for my Frankenstein.
Let cake cool for an hour.
While cake is cooling you can mix together your food coloring and white icing.
Once the cake is cool ice your cake in neon green.
Then with the black icing make the hair.
Lastly, decorate his face using the white and black decorative icing.
