September through to January is my FAVORITE time of the year. I love the food, the smell of cinnamon & spices, the cool brisk mornings and nights, the start of school, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and then ending it with New Year’s fun! There is so much excitement with this season. It’s always changing from week to week and I love that. I love being busy with parties and time with friends and family. I LOVE all of it!! So…knowing this information it is probably not surprising to see a Halloween post come up when it isn’t even October. I just can’t wait to start making things to hand out to our neighbors, friends, teachers, etc…
Today I’m sharing with you a cute little mason jar filled with candy to give to someone special for Halloween. I attached a cute Halloween inspired tag with the saying No Tricks Just Treats on it. Isn’t that cute?!?! Love it! I then wrapped the jar in seasonal ribbon. We aren’t sure yet who we are going to give these to next month but we have set them aside for someone special.
When I heard the saying No Tricks Just Treats I knew immediately that I wanted to make a tag with this on it! I felt like this would look precious attached to a clear bag or jar. I chose to use a mason jar, but you could buy some clear favor bags from the party store if you wanted. So I hopped on my computer this week and made some tags on Photoshop for my faithful readers and I to use. You can download the tags HERE . I put 6 tags on one sheet. First fill your jars or bags with something yummy. Then after printing and cutting out the tags I punched two holes (one on top of the tag and one on the bottom) and threaded the seasonal ribbon through the top and bottom holes. I hot glued the ribbon to the top and bottom of the mason jars and tied either a bow or knot on the top. I found that if I didn’t hot glue the ribbon then it slipped off real easy, and we don’t want to lose any of this cute ribbon. 😉 I also glued the tag down on the side so it went with the shape of the jar.
I love the way my jars turned out and they didn’t take me long to make at all. I would love it if you could use these tags for a project that you have coming up. If you use them I’d love to hear what you do with them and how it turns out. I hope that everyone is doing well. Talk to you all again soon.
