For those of you that have been around all things “Glorious” for a while you all know that my boys go to school next Monday!! Ahhh!! I can’t believe it! And meet the teacher is tomorrow!!! Ahhh…. I’m not sure who is more nervous my boys or me. Ha! I taught Kinder for five years and First for another five and always got nervous/excited about the first day of school even as a teacher. You never know what the dynamics of your kids are going to be and things are always rocky that first day no matter how prepared you actually are. You just pray that you survive and that too many of them don’t cry or take the wrong bus on the way home from school. Teachers spend SO much time preparing for this day/year. We put our hearts and souls into educating and loving our students. So, to start the year off right I made some cute printables to give to the teachers and aids on the first day of school to show them how excited we are to have them as our teachers. I know that this is small, but I always cherished these sweet tokens of appreciation.
These are free back to school printables that you can download at home and print onto some card stock. Tie some cute ribbon on and you will have the perfect gift. I hope you like them and can hopefully use them for your child’s teacher as well. I’ve put together some ideas on how to use them below. Let me know what you think. Do you give your teachers a small token of appreciation on the first day of school as well? If so, what do you enjoy doing for your child’s teacher? I’m always looking for more ideas.
I hope that everyone’s first day back at school goes smoothly! Have a blessed rest of your week. Enjoy these printables!! 🙂
